When performing an Expert Search in the staff client (Cataloging -> Search the Catalog -> Expert Search) the Evergreen ignores the library specified under Search Library and instead returns results for your entire bibliographic database. If you do the same search in the OPAC (Advanced Search -> Expert Search) the system only retrieves the records for your specified search library.
This is huge. I wish I never needed the expert search, but as long as it is necessary it is important that it works properly!
Please check whether this bug is still valid in the OPAC refresh. https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1778972
It looks like there is a different new bug: I got results for my search scoped to Niagara Fall Public Library, but no results for any of its branches.
Perhaps related: whenever I tried to view the MARC Record I got a Internal Server Error.
Confirmed this on the Angular version of the staff catalog on Release 3.5.1 (this is called the Experimental Staff Catalog in Release 3.5, but will become the default staff catalog in Release 3.6.
this is fixed in 3.7
