We would like to simplify and make less error prone the task of adding postal addresses to customers accounts.
The idea I would love to explore is using a service such as SmartyStreets to autocomplete postal addresses as they are entered by staff and/or customers.

This would probably require the address form be adjusted to lead with the street address instead of the zip code.

We have SmartyStreets verification in our giving database (littlegreenlight.com) and I love it. It is important to note, however, that it isn’t always able to find a match and we do occasionally have addresses that it can’t verify or where we have to correct unit number that SmartyStreet gets wrong.
