Add custom error messages to the Evergreen staff client. There are many examples of confusing error messages.
We have permission groups that are not allowed to check out items from specific libraries. If staff attempt to check out an item with a circulation policy that prohibits circulation to the permission group, staff see this message:
Target copy is not allowed to circulate.
Likely the staff member looks at the item in hand wondering why it would not circulate, for example a James Patterson title, and then likely overrides the error knowing of course this title circulates.
If the reason the item does not circulate is because the item has circulate = false, the message is the same.
It would be better to have a message more appropriate for the situation.
